Created by Marcia Eckerd, a neurodiversity affirming therapist.

This site is dedicated to recognizing and amplifying the voices of autistic women, girls, and
gender-diverse people — voices that have too often been overlooked or misunderstood.

A COMMUNITY OF RESOURCES

 My Mission

My mission with this site is to raise awareness among neurodivergent individuals and those supporting them, share meaningful resources and challenge outdated stereotypes and gender biases that stand in the way of understanding and support. My passion and specialty lie in supporting adults who have gone undiagnosed, particularly women and those with identity intersections (race, gender, culture, ethnicity) who have been overlooked and misunderstood.

I also welcome your ideas and experiences. You can contact me through the contact me link – I’ll be sharing selected contributions on this site to help build a richer and more inclusive community. I’ll be sharing my own writing and videos, along with other resources I’ve found to be helpful and meaningful.

In my work as a therapist, consultant, and diagnostician, I’ve had the privilege of learning from and working with neurodivergent individuals for more than 30 years. This site is my personal contribution to honoring that work.

Most importantly, my approach is grounded in authenticity and trust. For many of my clients, this becomes a transformative experience — a space where masking is no longer necessary, and their whole selves are welcomed and understood.

I’m a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience

supporting autistic, AuDHD, NVLD,  and other neurodivergent people.

In addition to my clinical work as a therapist and diagnostician,

I consult with families, partners, educators, and professionals to

foster a more compassionate understanding of neurodiversity.

I share my work widely through writing, speaking, and training.

My journal article on diagnosing women was read internationally and my blogs have helped raise awareness and understanding of the challenges face by neurodivergent people.
